Mary "Yvonne" Bryant-Lynch of Brighton and formerly of Bronx, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 29, 2024 at age 83.
Mary worked for many years as an Administrator for Action For Boston Community Development. Mary enjoyed traveling, watching Western movies, and cooking shows. She especially loved to prepare delicious meals for her family on the holidays. She baked the most amazing cakes, and upheld an annual apple picking tradition for 30 years. She was thoughtful, resilient, strong minded, and strong willed.
Mary “Yvonne” was preceded in death by her siblings the late George Clarke, Gloria Rivera, Gladys Smith, and her mother Mary Bryant and her father Benjamin Thompson.
She leaves her children Clifford Daniel Lynch Jr., Renee Lynch-Clanton, and Cheryl Lynch, her grandchildren Mark Anthony Lynch and his wife Maria, Aaron Clanton, Nicole Clanton and Andre Tobin, her sister Sylvia Charles, brothers, Randolph Bryant, Arthur Bryant; sister-in-law, Josephine Bryant; nieces, Lynett Suber, Cynthia Clarke, Kalila Gibson, nephews, Raymond Charles, Ronald Charles, Keith Smith, and Anthony Clarke; a host of great and great-great nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends who will all carry their memories of her forever. She will be joining her parents, and siblings in God’s loving embrace.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Sunday March 10, from 2-6 PM.
