Julio Tubig, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and proud great-grandfather, passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 80. His love, unwavering dedication, and joyful spirit will forever be treasured by those who knew him.
Born on July 11, 1943, Julio was a pillar of strength and support for his beloved wife, Sylvia Tubig, throughout their remarkable 57 years of marriage. Together, they created a loving family filled with cherished memories and love.
As a father, Julio guided and nurtured his two children, Priscilla Lampe and Jason Tubig, with unconditional love and wisdom. His presence enriched their lives, and his legacy of strength, discipline, and devotion will forever inspire them and all who knew him.
Julio was a cherished brother to his siblings: Jaime Tubig, Elizabeth Prasse, Edith Wulf, Ethel LeBlanc, Jordan Tubig, Joseph Tubig, Evangeline Tubig and Jefferson Tubig. Their bond was unbreakable, and their shared memories will be forever cherished. Julio was uncle to many nieces and nephews and he loved them dearly. Julio was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Leoncia Tubig and sister, Estrellita Williams.
A loving grandfather, Julio Tubig found joy in the presence of his grandchildren: Ramon, Shaye, Kayla, Jonah, and David. He celebrated their accomplishments and was a source of love, support, and inspiration in their lives. In addition to being a loving grandfather, Julio was blessed with the opportunity to be a great-grandfather to Devon, Aiden, and Cameron.
Julio Tubig embarked on a remarkable journey filled with honor and commitment. He dedicated 27 years of his life to serving his country as a Senior Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Throughout his distinguished military career, Julio exemplified the values of integrity, discipline, and bravery, leaving an indelible mark on all who served alongside him.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Julio Tubig will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Julio loved colorful clothing, let’s wear Hawaiian attire and say Aloha!
Julio Tubig is now home in Heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May his memory bless all who loved him.
