Albert was born in Brooklyn, New York to Louis and Alice Effrat (nee Ginsberg).
During his lifetime, Albert dedicated himself to bettering the world personally and professionally through his fundraising and philanthropic efforts in the Jewish community, his unbounded warmth, and a sense of humor that rivaled some of the best classic comedians.
Albert was preceded in death by his spouse of 42 years, Carol L. Effrat. He is survived by his children, daughter Elana & husband Leo, his son Alec and grandson Efe, his sister Linda Zolet, loving nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, and dear friends.
Funeral Services and Burial for Albert will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 12:00 PM at IJ Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
In place of shiva, the family will gather at the Fineman's in Lake Worth after the service and burial.
